my fave setup is a 6-10kg, 6"3 ugly stik combined with a twinpower 6000fb and 30lb braid.
fave lures are the halco max, easy to retrieve and weighty to cast. get hold of a higher speed reel before you go and save your arm. good luck! ps. pile of rocks for the sharks
